چکیده

The layered trirutile phases HMWO6 (M = Nb, Ta) and the layered perovskite H2W2O7 (synthesized by acid leaching of Bi2W2O9) were exfoliated into nanoscale colloids by reaction with quaternary ammonium hydroxides.

Photoluminescence of perovskite nanosheets prepared by exfoliation of layered oxides, K2Ln2Ti3O10, KLnNb2O7, and RbLnTa2O7 (Ln: lanthanide ion).

Luminescent perovskite nanosheets were prepared by exfoliation of single- or double-layered perovskite oxides, K2Ln2Ti3O10, KLnNb2O7, and RbLnTa2O7 (Ln: lanthanide ion). The thickness of the individual nanosheets corresponded to those of the perovskite block in the parent layered compounds. Intense red and green emissions were observed in aqueous solutions with Gd1.4Eu0.6Ti3O10- and La0.7Tb0.3T...

Comparison of two- and three-layer restacked Dion–Jacobson phase niobate nanosheets as catalysts for photochemical hydrogen evolution†

Restacked niobate nanosheets were prepared by exfoliation of the corresponding Dion–Jacobson type layered perovskites (HCa2Nb3O10, HSr2Nb3O10 and HLaNb2O7) with tetra(n-butyl)ammonium hydroxide and subsequent treatment with hydrochloric acid. The nanosheets were characterized by means of X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. W...

Bridging the Ruddlesden-Popper and the Aurivillius phases: synthesis and structure of a novel series of layered perovskite oxides,(BiO)LnTiO(4)(Ln = La, Nd, Sm).

Two series of layered perovskite oxides continue to attract research attention. One series is the Ruddlesden-Popper (R-P) oxides,1 A2[An-1BnO3n+1], whose members such as2-4 K2La2Ti3O10, K2SrTa2O7, and NaLnTiO4 (Ln ) La or rare earth) have been investigated for a wide variety of properties, which include ion-exchange,2,3 intercalation,5 exfoliation,5 topochemical dehydration,6,7 reductive transf...

Ion-exchangeable, electronically conducting layered perovskite oxyfluorides.

Cation-exchangeable d(0) layered perovskites are amenable to intercalation, exfoliation, and a variety of topochemical reactions, but they lack the interesting electronic and magnetic functionalities of mixed-valent perovskites. Conversely, electronically and magnetically interesting layered perovskites lack scope in terms of interlayer chemistry. To bridge this gap, the insulating, cation-exch...

Structural and optical characterization of metal tungstates (MWO4; M=Ni, Ba, Bi) synthesized by a sucrose-templated method

BACKGROUND Metal tungstates have attracted much attention due to their interesting structural and photoluminescence properties. Depending on the size of the bivalent cation present, the metal tungstates will adopt structures with different phases. In this work, three different phases of metal tungstates MWO4 (M= Ba, Ni and Bi) were synthesized via the sucrose templated method. RESULTS The pow...
